Reading a Range Rover VIN
Range Rover shares the SAL world manufacturer identifier with the rest of the lineup, both names are filed under the same manufacturer of record, Jaguar Land Rover. If a Range Rover VIN decodes with the manufacturer field showing Land Rover, that's expected rather than an error, they're two names on the same filing.
